Leica Disto - Laser Meter

  Small, lightweight and good value for money.  Pros: a good piece of kit for those on a budget who still want the reassurance of using a Leica laser measure. Small but powerful and idea for any surveyor, builder, architect etc. Fits in your shirt pocket. Cons: One small issue was that outside the laser didn't travel too well (bright sunlight).   Adrian Pollock - Liverpool

  Top End Equipment  This is a Site status piece of kit. More expensive than dewalt or stanley equivalent models, but is worth the extra. Quick and easy to use with bright projected lines. Always have other tradesmen wanting to have a look at it onsite.   Simon - Kent

  Works well - but should it be necessary?  Device suibstitutes TRI100 head. Due to the DISTO being offset from the TRI100 rotatioon azes, the TA360 is necessary to fix the inability of the D8/TRI100 combination to deliver the advertised accuracy. If the DISTO worked with its dedicated tripod head, I would not have needed to buy this.   G Jeffrey - Hants

  Great pole - shame about spares  A great sturdy pole to Leica traditional quality. Unfortunately someone managed to lose the top pad of mine. Probably because the top and bottom pads are the most vulnerable parts. Trying to get a replacement is a trial of endurance where even Leica seem to be lost. I live in hope   MKF - Royston

  Leica CLR290  Innuendos aside this is a good strong pole, not flimsy like some of the other brands I have seen. Would have been nice if there had been markings on the side in measured intervals but you can't have everything.   I Gardner - Milton Keynes
