Fein Multimaster Blades

  First class service  As already mentioned, Fein blades are incredibly expensive. However, this site is one of, if not the cheapest around. The blade does the job well on wood and soft metals but avoid hardened materials if you don't want to trash it. Approach the work piece at a slight angle and then feed steadily   Steve Ball - Devon

  Never go on a job without this blade  Cuts wood well (use a medium speed on the multimaster) and will not break if embedded hardware is encountered. Will cut copper pipes neatly if there is no room for a pipe cutter. Do not force on nails and screews or teeth will melt - let the tool do the work!! Will not cut hardened steels.    -

  A very useful tool in tight corners  If you need to cut up to skirting or as today when I was letting a hearth into existing skirting this is the best tool to use. Don't force the cut and if possible steady your hand/wrist/tool against a solid surface to steady the cut. If you do this it's incredibly accurate and neat.   Steve Ball - Devon

  The gold standard  This is the "stanadrd blade" for most Multi-master users - tougher than the precision blade but still fast cutting - do not force and do not use where there are nails and it will perform well and last well.    -

  Fein Multimaster and blades  I am a wet room and bathroom fitter and this tool and blades are one of the first things I get out of my van when I start a job.    -

  Disappointed  Used once to degrout between 20x25cm wall tiles in 3-sided shower encl. Was v hard going and very quickly apparent blade would have worn out long before job completion. Had no "spare" blade so had to make big compromise on amount of grout removed. £40quid blade ruined in 2hours. [Thanks for your feedback David. Sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the blade.   Diamond tip segment bit  For grinding out old grout...this is the toy. Grouted about 50 lineal meters and it didnt have a dent on the dimond segment. really happy   Andrew - Strathaven
