Since launching the world's first miniature self-powered LCD tally counter with a 10 year operating life in 1984, Trumeter has been using horizon technologies in the development and manufacture of electronic OEM systems for both industrial and commercial applications.
Founded in the UK in 1937 and in the USA in 1938, Trumeter now has significant sales in 48 countries worldwide, with a network of over 70 distributors and direct sales representation in France, Germany and the Pacific Rim in addition to their UK and North American sales force.
In 2004 Trumeter moved its manufacturing facility to Malaysia in order to sustain the planned growth and enhance the profitability of the group. It now employes over 200 staff in Penang.
In the same year Trumeter commissioned a state of the art automation line to be installed into the Trumeter HQ in Manchester, UK. With these improved changes implemented, Trumeter are confident they have made significant headway in cementing their company at the forefront of the counting, measuring and timing instruments industry for many years to come.
