Returns Policy

Please email us at sales@buybrandtools.com or call us on (0114) 251 3535 if you want to return an item for any reason.

You are entitled to a full refund or exchange if you aren't fully satisfied with the goods supplied for any reason, providing you return them to us or make them available for collection at your own cost, within 7 days of you receiving the goods. This does not apply to goods made specially to order.

If the goods supplied are damaged or faulty, or if the wrong goods have been sent, then you are entitled to a full refund or exchange as well as your return postage costs, within 30 days of you receiving the goods.

Refunds and exchanges can only be made once we have received the goods in question back into stock. The goods must be returned to us in the same condition that you received them, with all packaging present.

Credit Card Security

The customer will be transferred to the secure Sage Pay server before they are asked to enter any credit/debit card details.

All transaction information passed between BuyBrandTools.com and the Sage Pay Systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to BuyBrandTools.com from Sage Pay are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing you pass to the Sage Pay servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

Once on the Sage Pay systems, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems in the same family as those used to secure VeriSign's Global Root certificate, making them all but impossible to extract. The data that Sage Pay hold is extremely secure and they are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so.

Sage Pay has multiple private links into the banking network that are completely separate from the Internet and which do not cross any publicly accessible networks. Any cardholder information sent to the banks and any authorisation message coming back is secure and cannot be tampered with.

No individuals within Sage Pay are able to decrypt transaction information or cardholder data. The Sage Pay systems only allow access to their most senior staff and only in extenuating circumstances (such as investigations of Card Fraud by the Police). Your transaction information and card information is secure even from Sage Pay employees because their systems never display the full card numbers, even on administration screens.

The information will NOT be disclosed to any third parties apart from when necessary for delivery purposes. Contact information is held on a secure database and is only accessed by employees who are responsible for managing the data.

What information do we have?
The data collected includes contact information e.g. addresses, telephone numbers, and e-mail addresses if applicable. Credit card details for online transactions are processed and secured by Sage Pay (security details above). No credit card data is stored for offline transactions.

Why do we have your information?
The information we have was either; (a) collected through the process of a sale or (b) by process of opt in to our email list.

How can you stop receiving mailings from us?
It is possible to opt out of receiving our emails by clicking the opt out link located at the bottom of our emails or by contacting us on (0114) 2513535.

Shipping & Handling

Delivery Times

Estimated UK mainland delivery times are given in the product information of each product on the website. These times are based upon the usual number of working days it takes from receiving an order for the product to delivering it. We can't guarantee these delivery times but we will endeavour to deliver your order as quickly as we can. You will be contacted if your order is likely to take longer to deliver than the times stated and given the option of cancelling.

Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Rep of Ireland, Channel Islands & other UK offshore destinations are likely to take an extra day.

Multiple Item Orders

If you order multiple items from the website and part of your order is out of stock then you'll be contacted and given the option of either part-shipping the order or waiting for all of the items to be in stock before it is dispatched.

Guaranteed Next Day & Saturday services are only available for orders received by 1.30pm on the previous day.

Fein Multimaster blades & accessories - only £2 total UK delivery charge per order (£4 for Eire, Channel Islands and other UK offshore destinations). To claim the special delivery price simply select 'Fein Blades Standard Delivery' on page 2 of the Checkout (under 'Shipping and Handling'). FREE delivery still applies on UK mainland orders over £100. Normal delivery prices apply if a non-Fein item is ordered alongside Fein blades. All quoted prices exclude VAT.

Rubi electric tile cutters - guaranteed next day and Saturday services may not be available or may require an extra fee, in which case we will contact you before proceeding. The same applies for standard delivery of electric cutters to locations outside of the UK mainland.

Tax Charges

VAT (currently 17.5%) is automatically added to all orders placed through our website. If you are ordering from overseas and are exempt from paying VAT then please contact us by phone, email or fax to place your order (contact details above).
