Returns Policy

Please email us at sales@buybrandtools.com or call us on (0114) 251 3535 if you want to return an item for any reason.

You are entitled to a full refund or exchange if you aren't fully satisfied with the goods supplied for any reason, providing you return them to us in the same condition that you received them (i.e. not used), within 14 days of you receiving them. If the goods supplied are damaged or faulty or if the wrong goods have been sent then we will also refund your return postage costs. If you are returning the goods for any other reason (than those stated above) then you would be expected to return the goods at your own cost.

If the item that you purchased from us malfunctions during use then you may be entitled to have it repaired under the terms of the manufacturer's warranty agreement. Please see our product descriptions for details of any included warranties. The manufacturer is responsible for the terms of the warranty agreement and for repairing the item but you should contact us in the first case to arrange the return.

Items that have been specially made to order cannot be returned unless damaged or faulty, in which case we would exchange the goods for a fully functioning replacement. This is providing the goods have not been used. If they have been used then you may still be eligible for an exchange under the warranty agreement (if applicable) for the item. Custom made items are not eligible for refunds.

Refunds and exchanges can only be made once we have received the goods in question back into stock. The goods must be returned to us in the same condition that you received them, with all packaging present.

Credit Card Security

The customer will be transferred to the secure Actinic Payments server (powered by Creditcall) before they are asked to enter any credit/debit card details.

Actinic Payments uses Thawte 2048 bit encryption systems. At the browser 128 Bit SSL is used. Payment pages use extended validation (EV) security certificates.

The key standard for card payment data security is called the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). Actinic Payments (powered by Creditcall) is fully Level One PCI DSS compliant - the highest level. This means that Actinic Payments uses strong encryption and digital signatures to make sure that all sensitive information is protected throughout. All computer systems are secured by firewalls and are in secure locations with restricted access.

The data collected includes contact information e.g. addresses, telephone numbers, and e-mail addresses if applicable. Credit card details for online transactions are processed and secured by Actinic Payments (security details above). No credit card data is stored for offline transactions.

Why do we have your information?
The information we have was either; (a) collected through the process of a sale or (b) by process of opt in to our email list.

How can you stop receiving mailings from us?

Tax Charges

VAT (currently 20%) is automatically added to all orders placed through our website. If you are ordering from overseas and are exempt from paying VAT then please contact us by phone, email or fax to place your order (contact details above).

Guarantees

Many of our products are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship, subject to reasonable and proper usage. Warranty lengths are normally stated in the product descriptions. If you have any questions about warranty lengths then please contact us (details above).
