Leica Tripod Adaptor TA360. This adaptor is designed for use with the Leica Disto D5 and D8 devices, and enables them to be used to their full potential. By attaching the device to the Leica TRI100 tripod you are able to measure indirect and hard to reach dimensions. This adaptor is also ideal for use with the Leice Disto D8 device when undertaking profile measurements. The TA360 is designed to tilt and rotate 360° vertically around a fixed point on the rear of the Leica Disto and so increases the accuracy of the measurements taken.

Works well - but should it be necessary? Device suibstitutes TRI100 head. Due to the DISTO being offset from the TRI100 rotatioon azes, the TA360 is necessary to fix the inability of the D8/TRI100 combination to deliver the advertised accuracy. If the DISTO worked with its dedicated tripod head, I would not have needed to buy this. G Jeffrey - Hants
