- Armeg 80mm diamond core drill bit
- Armeg PTC diamond drill bits feature thin wall, continuous diamond crowns for fast, efficient cutting and extended life. Not to be confused with short life diamond grit alternatives.
- Capable of cutting hundreds of holes in all grades of porcelain tile. Can also be used in marble, granite, travertine, natural slate, quarry tiles, ceramic tiles, natural stone, limestone, etc.
- Armeg PTC drill bits need a constant flow of water at the tip through the entire drilling process. This is best achieved using an Armeg water feed kit & adaptor. Even if you're not using the water feed, the adaptor is required to fit the drill bit into the drill chuck - see related products below.
- An 8mm pilot hole should first be drilled (see related products below) to enable the correct positioning of the large diamond core. The pilot tip of the water feed adaptor then slots into the pilot hole.

The diamond crowns can be used at any speed up to a maximum of 1500 rpm. Also suitable for use with cordless electric drills.
How quickly should I be able to produce a hole through a porcelain tile?
A hole should be produced through a porcelain tile in seconds rather than minutes. Excessive drilling times are usually due to insufficient pressure being applied through the drilling process or incorrect speed setting on the power tool.
How much pressure should I apply whilst drilling?
Sufficient pressure should be applied to keep the drill bit progressing through the tile (signified by tile dust being visible in the cooling water).
