- Armeg PTC drill bits need a constant flow of water at the tip through the entire drilling process. This is best achieved using an Armeg water feed kit & adaptor. What speed should the drill bits be used at?
The diamond crowns can be used at any speed up to a maximum of 1500 rpm. Also suitable for use with cordless electric drills.
How quickly should I be able to produce a hole through a porcelain tile?
A hole should be produced through a porcelain tile in seconds rather than minutes. Excessive drilling times are usually due to insufficient pressure being applied through the drilling process or incorrect speed setting on the power tool.
How much pressure should I apply whilst drilling?
Sufficient pressure should be applied to keep the drill bit progressing through the tile (signified by tile dust being visible in the cooling water).
Why are there two drill bits in my plastic tube?
The drill bit with the red wax cover over the tip is the tile drill bit, the other is a professional quality masonry bit for producing the fixing hole behind the tile. Do NOT use the tile bit for drilling masonry!

 good clean holes supper fast holes seems exspensive £45-00 a drill but after using the other drills dipped in diamond dust £8-00 for two holes not for me so i tried Armeg drill system will never use any thing elss over Twenty holes may have used 1/2mm of the end the water system is a must you will not regret it M Thorpe plumber - Barnsley
clean accurate holes not possible with covensional used the 7mm cause it is just over size to drill for 5.5 plugs an d just right for brown plugs drills hole not super fast but nice and steady,best to pull out of hole after about 15 to 20 seconds and break the small cetre piece of tlie off left by the core did 8 holes and no sign of drill wear noel - cannock
